The Davenport, single lever, dual handed iron rim lock is based on an original Victorian design.   Beautiful and elegant the Davenport rim lock looks stunning on any reclaimed or new door. Classically, the beehive knob set enhances the appearance and reinforces that Victorian image.  The beehive knob shown in the picture is not included with the rim lock and should be ordered separately.

Solid Brass keys

Each lock is hand finished and supplied complete with two solid brass keys. With a figure of eight keyway, the dual handed rim lock is suitable for left or right hand hung doors, in other words one lock fits all.

Beehive or Bloxwich Rim Knob Sets

The Beehive and Bloxwich door knob sets are, in our opinion, the most suited knob sets for the iron rim lock. 

Deep Backset Knob

The Davenport Rim Lock has a standard backset measurement of 122mm to the centre of the square knob spindle and has a backset of 47mm from the front edge of the lock to the centre of the key.
