The Bloxwich knob set is a faithful reproduction of the original Georgian knob set which can be used as a standard mortice set or as a rim set on any of our rim locks. Beautifully sculptured the Bloxwich knob is often seen in country houses and period properties.

Natural Polished Brass

The natural brass is polished to give an antique finish.  Left unlacquered, the natural finish gracefully ages and can be restored through routine polishing.  To maintain a polished lustre the knobs can be waxed with a neutral wax.

Traditional Threaded Spindle

The Bloxwich door knob set comes complete with a traditional threaded spindle which allows the knob set to be tightly fitted to any door.  Each knob is threaded onto the spindle when fitted and secured with a grub screw to retain it in position.  These knobs are heavy weight solid turned brass and will require heavy sprung locks and latches.

Heavy Knob Set

These knobs including there spindle weight over 900 grams and they need to be fitted to a sufficiently sprung latch, such as the Delamain or to a rim lock with sufficient springing such as a Union or the Davenport Tim Lock.  Please call customer services, on 01252 786510, if you are in any doubt as to which lock or latch to use.
