The Era 183/193 deadlocking nightlatch is a contemporary and robust design, suitable for any front entrance or side entrance door.  When combined on the same door with a 5 lever insurance rated deadlock, it provides a practical and secure lockking option.

Standard Operation

The latchbolt is withdrawn by the handle from inside or the key from outside. The latchbolt can also be deadlocked, by the key from outside or the key from the inside. The holdback facility is operated by rotating the handle and depressing the pushbutton, the holdback facility is released by rotating the handle.

Modern Contemporary Finishes

The ERA deadlocking nightlatch is available in full polished brass and 3 contemporary finishes; full polished chrome, full satin chrome and full satin nickel. In each case the cylinder and fixing screws are supplied in a matching finish.

Cylinder Pulls

It is common to fit a cylinder pull to a nighlatch to assist with closing the door, these are available in matching finishes, and can be ordered separately, please refer to related products.
