The Eurospec Architectural Quality tubular deadlock is commonly used as a bathroom deadbolt using a separate bathroom turn and release.  However, it can, with a conversion kit (SDB5010) be used as a security deadlock, in a similar way to a Chubb security bolt.  The conversion kit consists of a key to operate the bolt and an escutcheon for the door.

Electro-Brass or Stainless Steel

Each bolt comes complete with a set of both electro-brass and stainless steel forends and strikes.  The latch is completely reversible for either left hand or right hand doors and is pierced to accept 38mm centre bolt through fixings.

5mm or 8mm Square Follower

Most UK bathroom turns, 95% or more, are supplied with and operate on a 5mm square spindle however, a few European and commercial turns are supplied with an 8mm square spindle and require an 8mm follower in the lock to operate them.  If you are unsure please call customer services on 01252 786510.
