The Tudor Collection ball mortice knob set is 57mm in diameter, finished in Tudor Black Antique and one side of the set is sprung, to assist the return of the latch.  Usually, knob sets will be used with deeper latches, to avoid the  potential problem of your knuckles hitting the door frame, when opening the door.  A 76mm latch or deeper should be used.

Tudor Black Antique Finish

The black antique finish of the ball wrought iron knob set requires little maintenance and is best kept clean using warm soapy water on a soft damp cloth. In the event of chipping occurring the affected area can be cleaned, wiped dry and spotted with black enamel paint. When used on external doors a light coating of wax should be applied occasionally, to maintain a weatherproof shield.
