The 1951 63mm steel stormproof hinge is the staple hinge for traditional timber window manufacturers. When used it gives a stormproof rebate around the casement window. It is available in only the 63mm size and is intended for light to medium weight sashes. For heavy sashes please order the 100mm heavy duty stormproof hinge.

Plated & Painted Finishes

Steel stormproof hinges are available in several finishes including a brown or white powder coated paint finish, electro brass plated, bright zinc plated, sheradised and yellow passivated. However, the electro brass plated finish is recommended for internal use only.
