The 100mm double phosphor bronze washered brass hinge is used in considerable numbers, on bespoke joinery; you will find these hinges on many external doors and heavier internal doors.

Weight Capacity

Normally three hinges will be fitted to the door and in this instance we  recommend that the maximum door weight carried by these hinges is between 30Kg and 40Kg. With the hinges being washered to prolong the life of the hinge, it is not unusual to see DPBW hinges last 30 to 40 years in a domestic situation.

Various Finishes Available

The DPBW hinge comes in various finishes to compliment other items used on the door, these finishes include; polished & lacquered brass, polished chrome, and antique bronze.  100mm double phosphor bronze hinges are also available in many other finishes including polished nickel, satin nickel, antique brass, un-lacquered brass, satin chrome or satin brass.

Two Sizes Available

These hinges are avialble in two sizes to accommodate doors from 40mm upwards; 100mm x 67mm, usually used on 40-45mm doors and 100mm x 75mm, usually used on 50-55mm thick doors.
