The From the Anvil Arrow Head Hinge is an authentic reproduction of a classic design and is ideal for period properties and listed buildings. The old style hinge can also be used to create a traditional look in new buildings. The hinge comes in a variety of sizes, enabling it to be used on cupboard doors right through to larger internal doors.

Unique Hand Forging

All the Arrow Head Hinges have been hand-forged by expert craftsmen using old fashioned English blacksmithing techniques. This adds a special character to each item as no two pieces are alike. The narrow fixing plate enables the hinge to be used on modern door linings, an excellent feature if trying to recreate a timeless design in a new building.

Available in Pewter Patina

The hinges are sold in pairs and are available in two stunning finishes. The beeswax hinges are finished with a special wax that imparts a subtle matt richness to the metal and is suited to traditional homes. The stunning pewter patina finish beautifully highlights the texture of the steel and is equally suited to a new home as well as a period one.

Five Different Sizes

The Arrow Head Hinge is available in five different sizes - 4, 6 ½, 12, 18 and 24 inch - so will cater for all doors sizes and types. The 4” hinge looks superb on handcrafted kitchen cupboard doors, while the 24” hinge is ideal for heavy internal doors. This hinge comes with a frame hook that can be morticed into the frame, making the door in-line with the frame.
