The classical style has an ornate pull handle on a shaped backplate and is a very traditional pattern, making it ideal for old style properties such as pubs, country inns, manor houses and listed buildings. The pull handle is made from cast brass which is then polished to a high sheen and coated in a clear lacquer to protect it from corrosion. Polished brass requires cleaning with a mild solution of soap and water to remove dirty deposits, followed by drying and a light coating of wax.
