The Heritage Brass Tudor Collection Windsor Suite Lever on Backplate antique black door handle is modelled on the ever-popular plain Victorian lever and is classically associated to the country house ‘boot room’. Its simple black lines make it the ideal lever for utility areas and outhouses.

Black Antique Finish

The Windsor back antique finish door handle requires little maintenance and is best kept clean using warm soapy water on a soft damp cloth. In the event of chipping occurring the affected area can be cleaned, wiped dry and spotted with black enamel paint. When used on external doors a more rigorous care routine should be adopted and a light oiling or coating of wax should be applied regularly to maintain the antique black finish.

Door Backplate Alternatives

To complete the full range of interior doors the Windsor is available in three alternatives which are latch plate (this is a shorter backplate 102mm x 42mm), lock plate and bathroom plate. The bathroom backplate comes complete with the facility to release the door from the outside in an emergency and consequently needs fitting to a full height bathroom lock.
