The Carlisle Brass Victorian Ascot Suite door handle on backplate is a heavy pattern design of the classic Victorian straight lever handle. The lever is set on either a 118mm x 43mm backplate or a 150mm x 43mm backplate depending upon the option. Most are on the larger 150mm plate; however the short plate latch and the privacy version are on 118mm high backplates.

Privacy Lever Set Available

The privacy lever door handle is a lever set on short backplate (118mm x 43mm) that can be used with a simple tubular latch to achieve a privacy function for bathrooms, cloakrooms and en-suites. The turn of the privacy knob locks the lever in the fixed position and the latch can not be operated. Bathroom levers on backplates require a full bathroom lock and the turn of the privacy knob shoots a deadbolt from the lock, similar to a standard 3 lever or 5 lever lock.

Multiple Finishes Including Chrome

The Victorian Ascot Suite range of lever handles is available in 3 finishes; polished and lacquered brass, polished chrome or satin chrome. Contemporary polished or satin chrome levers are particularly hard wearing and will not suffer from any breakdown of the surface lacquer over time. If cleaned on a regular basis with a soft damp cloth and dried with a lint free cloth they will last for years.
