General
In these conditions 'Company' means Handles 4 Doors Limited.
'Customer' means the individual, firm, company or other party with whom the Company contracts.
'Goods' mean the goods, articles and materials, which are to be supplied by the Company pursuant to the contract.
'Order' means a purchase order in respect of the goods issued by the Customer to the Company.
Prices
Unless otherwise provided in the contract, the price of the goods is inclusive of Value Added Tax (retail), exclusive
of Value Added Tax (trade) which will be charged at the applicable rate at the appropriate tax point. Where the price
has been quoted by the Company for specific order quantities and specific delivery times, the Company reserves the
right to vary the price for the Goods should the Customer require different quantities from those stated or require
different delivery times.
Delivery and Risk
Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Customer at the place specified in the contract or as subsequently agreed
between the parties and the risk in respect of the Goods shall pass to the Customer at the time of loading for despatch
to the Customer. Delivery dates are given in good faith and are adhered to as closely as possible, but no liability is
accepted for any unforeseen delays subsequently arising or for any consequential loss or damage caused to the Customer
or third parties as a result of any delays for whatever reason.
Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable to the Customer, or be deemed to be in breach of contract with the Customer, by
reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform any of the Company’s obligations in relation to the
goods, if the delay or failure was due to force majeure or to any cause beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
Payment
Unless the contract otherwise provides, the contract price for the Goods shall be payable on placement of order,
unless the customer has an approved credit account.
Retention of Title
The Goods sold under these Terms and Conditions shall remain the absolute property of the Company and legal title
in the goods shall remain vested in the Company until payment in full of all amounts invoiced or due to the Company
in respect of the Goods has been received. If the Customer shall enter into liquidation, have a winding-up order
made against it, have a receiver, administrator or administrative receiver appointed over its assets, income or any
part thereof before the property in the Goods has passed in accordance with this condition, then the Company shall
be entitled, immediately after giving notice of its intention to repossess the Goods, to enter upon the premises of
the Customer to repossess any Goods to which it has title under this condition. No liquidator, receiver,
administrator or administrative receiver of the Customer shall have authority to sell goods to which the Company
has title without prior written consent of the Company.
Returned Goods
If you are dissatisfied with your order, you can return it for a refund within 14 days of receipt, subject to the
following conditions.
Goods should be returned via Royal Mail recorded delivery to ensure safe arrival at our Returns Department.
If you have changed your mind, you can return the goods, but we will charge a re-stocking fee of 15% which will
be deducted from your refund. If the goods are lost in the post we will require a proof of posting in order to
process a refund. We must receive the goods back in their original packaging with all parts included in a re-saleable
condition. If the goods arrive back damaged, with parts missing or in damaged packaging, we will not be able to issue
a refund. If the goods are damaged when they reach you, please return them and we will either exchange them, or
refund the cost in full, including your postage costs. If the damaged goods are particularly heavy and difficult to
post we may consider arranging a collection by our carrier, which will be at our cost.
Statutory Rights
These Terms and Conditions excepted, the Customer's statutory rights are not affected.
Applicable Law
The Company only accepts orders and sells its Goods upon and subject to these Terms and Conditions which shall
prevail over any terms or conditions of the Customer. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed
in accordance with English Law and the parties acknowledge and accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the English
Courts.
