The brass Dutch door bolt is a classic bolt for use on French doors, conservatory doors and orangery doors. The slide bolt is semi-circular in shape and guided by two cast saddles. 3 lengths are available; 202mm, 305mm, and a 610mm bolt.  These are extremely high quality bolts for prestigious projects.

Suitable For Outward Opening Doors

Each bolt comes complete with a selection of three strike plates for inward and outward opening doors and all necessary fixing screws. To ensure the bolt does not drop when in the closed position, spring clips are located in each saddle, between the saddle and the shoot bolt.

Polished Chrome & Satin Chrome Available

Produced from solid extruded and cast brass, the standard bolt is polished and lacquered and two alternative finishes, polished chrome and satin chrome are available to complement today’s contemporary interiors.  Each bolt comes complete with fixing screws and strike plates in the same finish.

Positive Location

The brass Dutch door bolt has a spring mechanism for positive location of the bolt when closed.  Each saddle incorporates a leaf spring which is trapped between the saddle and the bolt, positive pressure kept on the bolt making sure it will not drop when closed.
