The Classic Centre Door Knob is available in polished brass, polished chrome and satin chrome. The polished brass finish is usually more suited to a traditional style of front door. The chrome version would suit both classic and contemporary front doors as the round styling is very versatile. The satin chrome finish in particular is very chic and sophisticated and suited to more traditional or classic designs of front door. Polished chrome looks stunning on any door, but probably has more impact on a contemporary style.

Low Maintenance

The chrome finishes require very little maintenance and they are extremely hardwearing. A regular dusting and cleaning with soapy water is all they need to stay pristine. Polished brass is coated with a clear lacquer and requires clean.ing and protection with a light coating of wax from time to time. Care should be taken not to damage the lacquer as if the brass beneath is exposed to the air it will cause corrosion.
