This knocker is made from solid brass and has a polished brass finish. It is highly polished and lacquered with a clear lacquer to protect it from corrosion.

Optional Rose Fixing
The top 78mm round rose that the ring knocker has is fixed via a straight bolt, and as such the knocker can be fixed to the door with or without the rose. For a simpler unfussy look, or perhaps on a smaller door, the knocker looks very appealing if fitted to the door without the rose. For more of a statement, or maybe on a larger door, the knocker looks very attractive fitted with the rose. Either way, this makes the ring knocker a very versatile product.
