Within 12 months two of their former colleagues joined them and, with their help and support, turnover quadrupled in 4 ½ years of trading. It became apparent to them that there was a growing need for a good retail service as many customers commented that the choice of door and window furniture in the big DIY sheds was limited and, quite frankly, pretty awful. It was this realisation that inspired Acorn to build a website to reach out to more customers. The range of door and window furniture is so vast that it would be impossible to produce a catalogue which would do these products justice, so the idea of a fully e-commerce website was born.

A Highly Experienced Team

With the advent of many home improvement shows on television, Handles4doors also knows that there are many small developers and project managers who would like to be able to find products that will give their developments the finishing touches with that extra special 'something' which will put them ahead of the rest. With over 50 years experience in the industry between them, the sales and technical team can give reliable help and recommendations and advise on suitable applications and current building regulations.
