Window Stays
There are a number of different types of window stays, but in general the most commonly used are those which fit to the bottom of the window and allow the window to be held open on a stay pin. These typically come in three lengths 200mm, 250mm and 300mm.
Period Styles & Design
There are numerous designs and styles of stays, including modern, Victorian spoon end and ball end, Georgian, and or curly and monkey tail ended stays. All of these are available in a variety of finishes including, but not exclusively, brass, chrome, satin, chrome, and antique brass, black antique and real or imitation bronze.
Sliding & Hung Window Stays
Special application stays are available such as sliding stays which replace the standard stay and top hung window stays which fit on the side of top hung windows.
Cranked pins are readily available for most traditional stays allowing fitting to flush framed windows as are angled pins for EJMA (The English Joinery Manufacturers Association) profiles.
