Description
The Ludlow Foundries traditional casement fastener is an age old design and will be found in country houses and cottages. A matching stay is available in 3 sizes; 203mm, 254mm and 305mm.
Mortice or Hook Plate
The traditional casement fastener comes supplied with both a mortice plate for traditionally hinged opening-out casement windows or with a hook plate for pairs of cottage style windows. Fixing screws are supplied for both.
Ludlow Black Antique Finish
Malleable wrought iron is by its very nature susceptible to rusting and should be cared for accordingly, it will require a regular maintenance routine which should include a light application of oil and an occasional application of clear wax. As window furniture is used internally, there will be less of a problem compared to externally used door furniture.
Additional Window Security
As the Ludlow traditional window suite is non-locking, the Kirkpatrick locking stay pin can be used to add extra security. Key operated it will meet the requirements of your insurance company.
