Pull Handles
Mainly used in public buildings, pull handles are the preferred choice of handle for high traffic situations where self-closing doors are present; in corridors and entrances to toilets for example. Most pull handles are supplied for either face fixing with wood screws or bolt through fixing from the other side of the door. Shapes and sizes are limitless, from simple tubular or D shapes to designer styles made from leather combined with brass, chrome or nickel. The designer pull handles are more suited to contemporary apartment buildings or trendy nightclubs.
External Applications
Round section handles are popular, partly because of their pleasing simplicity, but also because they match lever styles and are both easy and of low cost to produce. Generally diameters range from 10mm to 50mm and lengths from 100mm to 650mm. External pull handles should not be ‘cold to the touch’, so powder coated, nylon and timber are all acceptable alternatives.
