Description
The Ludlow Foundries standard finger plate is 310mm x 65mm and is typically used on a push/pull door. Used on the opposite side of the door to a pull handle the finger plate is designed to protect the door from finger marks when pushed open. The use of a pull handle and finger plate also help to indicate to the public which way the door opens.
Matching Pull Handles to Suit
The Ludlow Foundries standard finger plate can be used with any number of pull handles, including the barley twist pull handle on backplate. Classically, the finger plate will be used in commercial properties such as pubs, night clubs, restaurants and barn offices; although in the right circumstances it is ideal for use in residential properties such as barn conversions and country houses.

Malleable wrought iron is by its very nature susceptible to rusting and should be cared for accordingly, it will require a regular maintenance routine which should include a light application of oil and an occasional application of clear wax.
