Description
Our ' Please Shut the Gate' sign is a solid cast brass plate with 23mm high lettering. The letters are in brass and stand proud on a black painted background. Each sign comes complete with solid brass fixing screws for quick and easy installation. The sign can be used on field gates and /or any timber gate.
180mm x 70mm Cast Plate
The sign is approximately 180mm x 70mm, with 2 fixing lugs, on at each end. In total the plate is about 6mm thick, making this a robust and prominent sign.
Natural Brass Finish
These signs are a natural polished brass finish which has been lacquered for protection. However, when used externally this lacquer will eventually break down and expose the raw brass finish. When this happens the brass will begin to tarnish and antique. To restore the finish, polish with Brasso and apply a coating of clear wax to protect the polished finish.
