Description
Our fire exit pictorial signs are produced in 1mm thick semi-rigid PVC suitable for both interior and exterior applications. They are 450mm x 150mm in size and available in five variations: Exit straight ahead or down, Exit left, Exit right, Exit down left or Exit down right.
Safety Sign Regulations 1996
All our fire exit signs conform to The Safety Signs and Signals Regulations Act 1996 which requires all emergency escape route signs to include pictorial symbols. The signs themselves also comply with BS5499 Part 4 and 5.
Fixing Sign Methods
The semi-rigid sign can be simply installed using double sided tape or mastic adhesive, or can be drilled and screwed to the wall if necessary. They should be placed in obvious positions to guide ocupants to safety in the event of a fire. If in doubt please consult your local fire oficer for advice.
