Door Signage
Most door signage falls into the categories of either toilet doors or fire doors. Toilet door signage is generally in the form of pictograms on 75mm discs. These discs are available in a variety of finishes to match the door hardware.
Fire Safety
As part of the regulatory requirements for fire safety it is necessary to fit fire door signage. Typically each fire door should have a 75mm diameter or 80mm square fire sign.
These signs will depend upon the door usage and will indicate that either the door should be kept locked shut or kept closed. These signs are obtainable in a variety of finishes to match the hardware used or in self adhesive or rigid plastic.
Exit Doors
Exit doors should be clearly labelled inside with directional signs and operational signs and externally with keep clear signs. Again these signs are available in a variety of materials, the most common of which are aluminium and self adhesive or rigid plastic.
