Description
The flat bookcase double stud (7475) is designed for use with the Cooke Brothers flat bookcase strip (7470). The single slot fixing flat stud is used in the majority of cases, however the stronger double slot fixing stud is available for those occasions when a heavier load is anticipated.
Load Capacity
Due to the variations in the shelving and cabinet materials used, it is recommended that a shelf on the base of any cabinet designed and made using Cooke Brothers’ bookcase strip, be test loaded to the maximum anticipated loading, before putting loads on the higher shelves.
Plated Finishes on Steel
The Cooke Brothers double flat bookcase stud is available in 4 plated finishes; brass, bronze, zinc or satin nickel. This product is steel based and it should be noted that the Bronze Antique finish is a very dark brown almost black finish.
