Description
The Fingertip Design 840 superior magnetic catch is made from steel and either electro-brass plated or bright nickel plated. Based on the ever popular white or brown plastic magnetic catch the FTD840, has a 6 Kg pull and is commonly used in kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.
Electro Plated Finishes
The superior metal magnetic catch is available in an electro-brass finish or a bright nickel plated finish. In both cases the catch comes complete with 4 fixing screws in the same plated finish.
6 Kilo Magnetic Pull
Magnetic catches are commonly rated in Kilogram pull and they tend too range from 3 Kg up to 6 Kg. The 840 metallic catch is a 6 Kg pull and is usually sufficient to hold most kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors. It is also usually enough to hold most wardrobe doors, although often two catches are used, one at the top and one at the bottom.
