Door Bells - Wireless
Wireless door chime kits consist of two separate units; the push button unit (transmitter) and the door chime unit (receiver). These units are completely self-contained and no wiring between them is necessary. When the push button is pressed, a wireless signal is sent to activate the door chime.
Transmitting Range
The operating range can be up to 100 metres (approx 320 feet), so you can mount or take the door chime virtually anywhere in the home. The transmission range of the wireless signal can be reduced if the signal is transmitted through a number of walls or ceilings. Metal and UPVC door frames will also reduce the operating range.
