Description
The Delamain porcelain knob has many different applications due to its versatile colour options and finishes. The Florentine bronze rose with an ivory crackle glaze mushroom knob has a very traditional antique feel about it and looks absolutely wonderful on natural wood doors as the various shades of brown and cream blend seamlessly.
Distinguishing Style Porcelain
By contrast, the midnight crackle glaze mushroom knob on a polished chrome rose looks quite modern and stunning on bedroom and bathroom doors with matching chrome fittings. Then there is the classic pure white porcelain knob on polished chrome or satin chrome, which would enhance many different interiors due to its simple lines and timeless appeal.
Low Maintenance Knob
The porcelain knob is probably the most versatile of all the knobs within the Delamain brand and is very practical and easy to maintain as well. Just a mild soap and water solution is enough to remove dirty marks and the chrome finishes are virtually indestructible. The brass and bronze finishes will require a little more care to maintain the quality lacquer coating. Never use commercial cleaners or abrasives materials on your brass and bronze - just a soft cloth for dusting and a mild soap and water solution to remove marks, then a quick buff with a soft clean cloth and a light coating of beeswax. Look after your door knobs in this way and they will retain their glossy good looks for many years.
