For the professional the standard 2 ball bearing hinge is also available in a radius corner version. The 10mm radius allows the hinge cut-outs in the door and frame to be machine produced, reducing installation time and cost.
Tough Reinforced Hinge
Made ideally to fit 44mm fire doors our 2 ball bearing hinge has been tested and certified for use on 1 hour fire doors. As required by the latest building regulations they are clearly marked with the CE mark and their grading (the durability test grade they have achieved).
Three Hinge Setup
To comply with current building control regulations it is necessary to fit three hinges to a fire door. It should also be noted that hinge weight capacity ratings are always quoted using one and a half pairs of hinges per door.
