Description
The Carlisle Brass FG5 Georgian knob on a backplate is a traditional knob set and available in polished brass only, Available on a lock, latch or bathroom backplate there is a knob set for every room. The 50mm wide backplate features the classic Georgian rope edge design and there are a number of other matching Georgian pieces of door and window furniture.
Shortplate Latch Furniture
The latch version of the Georgian suite is on a smaller backplate than the lock and bathroom, it is only 110mm x 50mm, not 155mm x 50mm. As with all other knob sets whether on a backplate or rose, we suggest using mortice locks and latches with at least a 57mm backset.
Caring for Brass Products
Carlisle Brass, brass products are protected by the most advanced lacquers available and under normal circumstances should give many years of service. They should only be cleaned with a cloth moistened with warm soapy water, or alternatively wiped over with a soft cloth with beeswax. UNDER NO CIRMCUMSTANCES USE ANY FORM OF METAL CLEANER OR AEROSOL SOLVENT.
