Optional Rose Fixing
The round rose that the ring knocker is fixed to is a straight bolt, and as such the knocker can be fixed to the door with or without the rose. For a simpler unfussy look, or perhaps on a smaller door, the knocker looks very appealing if fitted to the door without the rose. For more of a statement, or maybe on a larger door, the knocker looks very attractive fitted with the rose. Either way, this makes the ring knocker a very versatile product.
Popular Metallic Finishes
The ring knocker is available in three popular finishes. There is traditional polished brass, which has been highly polished and then clear lacquered. Polished chrome is a shiny silvered look which looks wonderful on a white front door, matched to other polished chrome accessories such as a letterplate, door number, bell push and centre door knob. Satin chrome is a much more subtle silver colour, lighter than polished chrome, and with a matt appearance, which gives it a more classic upmarket appeal.
