Description
The Access Hardware D Series thumbturn and release is designed to be used with their D Series designer levers on rose. Manufactured from a mixture of grade 304 stainless steel and chrome plated zinc alloy, these bathroom turns are competitively priced and can be used separately, if desired.
Indicating Release
The D Series bathroom turns are available with either a non-indicating or indicating (red/white) release. Usually in a domestic situation the non-indicating release is preferred, however both types have the typical penny slot, to allow release in an emergency.
Disabled Turn
For disabled situations or simply any situation were an easier to use turn is required, the D Series thumbturn and release is available in a disabled option. The central turn has an extended finger bar for easier operation, however, the disabled option is only available with an indicating (red/white) release.
Care and Maintenance
Although stainless steel products are suitable for most applications, neither grade 304 or 316 is unconditionally guaranteed. To retain the highest corrosion resistance it is necessary to keep the surface of stainless steel and chrome plated zinc clean. This can be done by wiping with a clean cloth using either a mild detergent or soap solution and drying with a towel. Steel brushes and wire wool should not used.
