Description
The Access Hardware D Series escutcheon is designed to be used with their D Series designer levers on rose, although they can be used separately if desired. They are available with either a standard key or a Euro profile cut-out.
Standard Key Escutcheon
A standard key escutcheon would be used with a standard Chubb type mortice lock, either deadlock or sashlock. With the sashlock it would be combined with most likely a set of Access Hardware D Series levers, perhaps on a pair of French doors or a single back door.
Euro Profile Escutcheon
The Euro profile escutcheon would be used with a Euro cylinder deadlock case and cylinder or a sashlock case and cylinder. Typically this would be a commercial area or a residential property that required a registered and controlled cylinder, i.e. one where the keys can not be copied by just any high street locksmith or key cutting booth.
Care and Maintenance
Although stainless steel products are suitable for most applications, neither grade 304 or 316 is unconditionally guaranteed. To retain the highest corrosion resistance it is necessary to keep the surface of stainless steel and chrome plated zinc clean. This can be done by wiping with a clean cloth using either a mild detergent or soap solution and drying with a towel. Steel brushes and wire wool should not used.
